With this tool, I try to explore the landscape nature in a more filmic and painterly narrative way.
From 14:00-17:00, visual artist Björn Olsson (SE) will invite you into his portable studio and fieldkitchen for a presentation of his camera sled and track system for still photography called Släden (produced in 2012). At this occasion the track system will be installed in the garden area behind Skaftfell. A camera is mounded on the sled, and a built-in computer controls the speed of the camera. The rails can be set up in different constellations and can therefore be adapted to different objects and landscapes.
