The exhibition is a result from a printmaking workshop held by the Iceland University of The Arts in Seyðisfjörður, East Fjords of Iceland, in collaboration with Skaftfell Center for Visual Art, FOSS editions and the Technical Museum of East Iceland . The workshop started on 6. January 2020 and the participants consists of 14 students from the academy as well as two exchange students. By participating in the workshop the students developed a deeper understanding of the printmaking process and key elements in the production of a printed work under the guidance of printmaking-specialists Sigurður Atli Sigurðsson, Linus Lohmann and Litten Nystrøm.
During the course, a silkscreen printing workshop was constructed at the gallery at Skaftfell where as the participants worked individually on at least one editioned graphic work. The students have used a variety of printing methods to create their edition. The individual works—and the workshop itself—forms this exhibition.
