Skaftfell warmly welcomes Edda Kristín Sigurjónsdóttir artist in residence in January. Edda Kristín Sigurjónsdóttir (1978) lives and works in Reykjavik. Her work and life, as those are intertwined, is centered around slowly finding a way home to the heart – embracing what there is right here. She is enamoured by the living world of plants and food as material and is a firm believer in the power of the wish, elements that are woven into her varied projects.

Tara Njála Ingvarsdóttir (b.1996) and Silfrun Una Guðlaugsdóttir (b.1996) are the performance artist-duo Tara and Silla. They have been shining their boots and working together since they first started working together in the BA Visual Arts department of the Iceland University of the Arts which they graduated from in the spring of 2020.
