Thursday January 23, from 16:00 – 20:00 Skaftfell residency, Austurvegur 42, top floor Jens has been in residence at Skaftfell for December and January. It`s the fourth time he is visiting Iceland and the third time he is staying in Seydisfjördur. He will show several new abstract paintings (Skyr-Tempera on plywood), the cardboard work “screen” and a light installation. Homemade rye bread with butter and chocolate cake will be served. The Visual Art Day – Open studios
Every year the Association of Visual Artists in Iceland celebrate the Visual Art day. The event will take place this coming Saturday, November 2, and artists all over the country will participate. Visual artists in Egilstaðir and Seyðisfjörður will take part in the event and open the doors to their studios. Guests is welcome to drop by between 14.00 and 17.00 to take look at the working facilities, chat, view works and gain insight.
