During the Day of Darkness the Skaftfell art classes will be exhibiting two light installations referring to the subject of light and darkness. The 8th grade students have been working in the field between concrete and abstract matters and visions of the body – explored through light and captured on photographs. Their installation will be shown in the window of the Bookshop – Projectspace. Upcoming November 5th @ 16:00 The poet Sveinn Snorri Sveinsson (b. 1963 in Egilsstaðir) exhibits the process he went through in creating the comic book Skuggi Rökkva (2006) or Rökkvi’s Shadow. He worked on the book with the illustrator Jean Antoine Posocco. During the opening the poet will read from his recently release book of poetry.
