15.4.2024 — 8.6.2024 Opening: Saturday, April 13, 4-6 pm The Heath exhibition comprises recent photographs and videos by the renowned Seyðisfjörður- based, Canadian photographer Jessica Auer.  Heiðin – an ongoing work, explores the history and development of Road 93, the highest altitude road in Iceland and the only overland route in and out of Seyðisfjörður. In wintertime the road is closed for days, cutting off residents from supplies and the rest of society. Ra Tack: Small Works

Ra Tack (b. 1988) is a Belgian painter and sound artist, living and working in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. Their paintings oscillate between abstraction and representation, often rendered in oil on large canvases. This installation features recent smaller works in oil stick on paper that are more intimate in scale. Tack’s compositions are composed of lush, expressive textures and colours, and deal with themes of transition, duality, love and longing. Tack’s work has been exhibited widely, including solo and group exhibitions in London, Ghent, Berlin, New York, Copenhagen, and Marrakech.
