SITE_ is a three-day exhibition in Skaftfell’s gallery by Julian Harold (FR), Hyun Ah Kwon (KR), Kristen Mallia (US), and Kirsty Palmer (UK), who are artists in residence at Skaftfell during February and March 2020. SITE_ responds to encounters of place and space through process, materials and the observation of time. Using a variety of media and techniques, each artist examines the conceptual pinnings of space, its edges and the in-betweens, as well as its historical and memorial implications. List í Ljósi festival, Seyðisfjörður, 13.-15. February 2020, daily 18:00 – 22:00. Skaftfell’s current artist in residence Hyun Ah Kwon (KR) is participating in the annual List í Ljósi light festival in Seyðisfjörður, with a video installation in the campsite reception building.
