Gardening of Soul: Riso workshop – 31/10 and 1/11 from 16 – 19. Two day workshop in riso printing for 14 and up in Prentverk Seyðisfjörður, Öldugata 14. The workshop is held in collaboration with the Gardening of Soul project and is taught by artist in residence Michaela Labudová. Saturday March 11, 2023, 14:00-16:00, Herðubreið This workshop explores ways to convert memory into a painting, using the exact colour from a photograph. By extracting ink from the film, participants can experience how the photograph dissolves and disappears as they create their own memory in a new painting, which can sometimes be a different form of image compared to what they have caught on camera.
