A warm welcome to Solveig Thoroddsen, Skaftfell artist in residence in February. Solveig is an Icelandic artist, based in Iceland. She graduated from the master study from The Iceland University of the Arts in 2015 and has been an active artist ever since. Solveig works across media and her main subjects are rooted in interactions between man and nature. Her works also focus on society with feminist references. Skaftfell warmly welcomes Frederik Heidemann artist in residence for the month of February. Frederik Heidemann is an artist working with music, performance, and radio. He is a collagist, producing diverse objects, from radio mixtapes to ringtones. He is a regular contributor to Thelakeradio.com and Groupcrit.net and is one half of the duo Yrdloop. During his residency at Skaftfell he will be working on the initial phases of a research project, related to the untold story of Dieter Roths musical practice, as well as his imprint Dieter Roths Familienverlag. http://frederikheidemann.dk/
